01/The problem

Attendance, marks and fees lived in different places.

Students and staff at Acharya Institutes needed attendance, marks and payments in one place. The app’s store rating had sunk to 1.2 stars.

02/What I built

One Flutter app for all of it, start to finish.

  1. 01

Design, code and deployment all sat with me.

  2. 02

Attendance, internal assessment marks and payments (via Razorpay) run on one codebase for Android and iOS.

  3. 03

When I moved on, interns I had trained took over the codebase.

03/Outcomes

Twenty thousand people opened it every day.

  1. 5.4×

Monthly active users while I owned it

Android, from the Play Console: 2,972 monthly active users on 1 Sep 2021, when I took it over, and 16,148 on 31 Aug 2023, when I handed it over. Every student and staff member across Acharya Institutes used it.
